I’m no fashionista but, I do like to stay current. People are always asking me “what’s new” for the season in hair, clothing and makeup. Here are three Fall trends that keep popping up in fashion magazines and on the street (including Park Boulevard):

1. The ponytail rides back into style. The new ponytail goes both ways, set high and sassy or low and demur. The style is sleek and sophisticated, or let a few strands stray for an edgier look. Both men and women have always worn ponytails as an off-the-face workout style, but now they are the style. If you’re trying to update your look, , remember that your hair is a good place to start. You never leave home without it!

2. Flats are flat-out everywhere. In fresh new styles, too: equestrian-rider leather boots, two-tone cap-toe flats, and dressy flats in amazing fabrics and colors. Fun for this time of year, and easy to wear.

3. Oxblood nails and ruby-red lip color feel right. Deep, rich red nails look great on skin that’s lost its summer tan. For lips, try a bright shade – unless you’re a porcelain doll, the darkest reds might be hard to pull off. The good news is, you can try any or all of these ideas without blowing your budget or doing a total makeover.

Looking forward to seeing more beauty on the Boulevard!
