The personalized attention and down to earth atmosphere are what keeps me coming back for more at this day spa. The facials, hair, nails, pedicures, waxing and permanent make-up are wonderful. This salon also has gifts for last minute presents for those burning the candle at both ends. It is centrally located in San Diego near shops and cafe’s. It has a home like atmosphere, as it is in an old antique house. It’s decorated with tasteful art and creative touches. Lisa Getz is the best Esthetician and nail technician there is. Try it, you won’t be disappointed!

Visiting Lisa for a facial is very relaxing. I just about passed out while she was giving me a facial. She was thorough and got my skin really clean and the whole time I felt luxuriously pampered. I visit Lisa at least once a month to treat myself to something special.

I love my new lashes. Got them for my sons wedding and loved the freedom to laugh and cry without worrying about makeup! they are so comfortable and natural I forgot about them completely until I would catch a glimpse in the mirror and see how good they look! I go to Lisa for manicures, pedicures and waxing services. She is great! An excellent technician and a very warm and friendly person who puts you at ease. The experience with Lisa is always fun! I recommend her highly.  

Lisa excels in identifying a client’s skin type and matching it with the corresponding skin care products. Lisa also has an experienced background in waxing.

I have been to a few other places since moving to San Diego for facials, and was not impressed or satisfied…. I recently got a facial from Lisa and she did an amazing job!  I am definitely going back!

Original Skin and Body Boutique and Hair Salon is a warm, welcoming, relaxing environment with earthy tones and soothing lighting and decor. SO much nicer than the boring white hospital-esque rooms at other spas!

Echoing all the other reviews, here…Cozy warm decor, no clutter, no mess  and welcoming not like so many other spots that look like Dexter is going to show-up any minute to take care of you. Facials are excellent, I like all the product lines, from Dermalogica to G.M. Collin and the price is right.

I had a wonderful experience here.  I walked in with a frizzy, tangled mess that hadn’t been cut in a year and walked out with a glamorous hair style.  This is definitely the best hair cut I have ever had!  

Sharon has been cutting my hair for a few years now and I have never been disappointed. I followed herfrom another salon to Original Skin Boutique and Hair Salon (which, incidentally, is an awesome place) 

I got my hair colored by Sharon and it looks amazing. She listened to what I wanted to do, showed me samples and gave me some really good ideas. My hair looks exactly how I wanted it.  Thanks Sharon!
